Gratitude on the Horizon
Seems like everything I’ve read this week is about being grateful. Sure it’s Thanksgiving, but still it’s been unbelievable. A good friend told me just earlier this week that “Sometimes God speaks in stereo when we are being stubborn.” Well, I feel like I’m hearing “GRATITUDE” in Dolby 7.1 with a thundering subwoofer.
This morning I’ve been sitting on top of a mountain watching the sunrise. It’s amazing to me how--when we get up to a higher elevation--the horizon line seems much straighter. Rising above the valleys and the peaks (spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally) allows us to get a different perspective.
I’m grateful this morning.
I’m grateful for a sunrise on a straight horizon.
I’m grateful that God sometimes speaks in stereo.
I’m grateful that sometimes He goes with Dolby 7.1.
I’m grateful that I’ve been reminded this week to be grateful.
